Exempts the Attorney General's office personnel actions from State Personnel Board procedures for one year beginning July 1, 2020, with all employees classified as nonstate service during that period.

Employees hired by the Attorney General's office on or after July 1, 2021, must meet the criteria of the State Personnel Board as it presently exists.

Allows the Attorney General to employ individuals under Section 7-5-9 without subjection to State Personnel Board rules and regulations during the one-year exemption period.

Exempts certain attorneys employed by the Attorney General's office from the salary ceiling established in Section 25-3-39, allowing the State Personnel Board to approve compensation above the standard limit based on prevailing wage in the relevant labor market.

Requires the Attorney General's office to file annual reports with the Lieutenant Governor, Speaker of the House, and relevant legislative committees detailing salary increases, employee dismissals, and new hires during the exemption period.
