Maintains $100 per diem rate for non-election days spent revising voter rolls and conducting election preparation work, with annual day limits varying by county population size (ranging from 50 to 240 days).

Authorizes county boards of supervisors to allow up to 5 additional days of $100 per diem compensation beyond the annual limits at their discretion.

Provides $100 per diem for up to 10 days of pre-election voter roll revision work before special elections and up to 14 days for runoff election preparation and conduct.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
