Amends Section 19-25-74 of the Mississippi Code to modify how county sheriffs record meal information for prisoners in county jails.

Requires sheriffs to post a monthly log (by the tenth calendar day of each month) showing the number of meals served to prisoners each day, rather than posting daily records.

Maintains existing requirements for sheriffs to maintain logs with prisoner names, incarceration/release dates and times, and to file affidavits monthly with the board of supervisors.

Requires the board of supervisors to keep logs on file and make them available to the State Department of Audit upon request.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
