Prohibits circuit court judges from providing any opportunity for political candidates to address the public during court terms

Amends Mississippi Code Section 23-15-973 to remove judges' duty to give candidates for Supreme Court justice, Court of Appeals judge, circuit judge, or chancellor reasonable time to address people during court terms

Maintains existing prohibition on judicial candidates aligning with other candidates, political factions, or political parties during primary or general election campaigns

Maintains penalties for violation including forfeiture of nomination or voiding of election for candidates who knowingly violate judicial candidate alignment restrictions

Effective date: July 1, 2020
