Amends Section 67-1-5 of the Mississippi Code to add a new category of qualified resort area that includes municipalities bordered by the Pearl River, traversed by Mississippi Highway 25, adjacent to Jackson International Airport, and located in dry counties.

Allows governing authorities of such qualifying municipalities to designate specific properties and areas within their jurisdiction as qualified resort areas by ordinance.

Permits these designated areas to operate facilities that offer alcoholic beverages for sale, subject to local regulations on hours of operation, revenue percentages from food service, and specific location requirements.

Effective July 1, 2020.
