Allows county clerks to issue tax sale notices to a constable in addition to the sheriff, with prior approval from the board of supervisors.

Increases the service fee for both the sheriff or constable from $35.00 to $45.00 for serving initial notices and from $35.00 to $45.00 for serving second notices.

Applies these changes to residents of Mississippi when serving notice of tax sales on property, while maintaining existing procedures for nonresidents.

Brings forward Section 27-45-5 regarding the deposit and handling of tax redemption funds by county clerks.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
