Promotes responsible gun ownership including parental supervision, reporting of stolen firearms, and enforcement of state gun laws while condemning unlawful firearm transfers and criminal use.

Directs transmission of the resolution to Mississippi's congressional delegation, the President, and the Capitol Press Corps.
