Mourns the passing of retired Mississippi Supreme Court Chief Justice Lenore Loving Prather of Columbus, Mississippi, who died on April 11, 2020.

Recognizes Prather as the first woman to serve as a Mississippi Supreme Court Justice, appointed in 1982 by Governor William Winter, and the first woman to serve as Chief Justice from January 1998 to January 2001.

Notes Prather's career achievements including serving as city judge in West Point (1965-1971), first woman chancellor judge for six counties (1971), and interim president of Mississippi University for Women (2001-2002).

Lists honors received including the University of Mississippi Hall of Fame (1986), Mississippi Medal of Service (2009), and University of Mississippi School of Law Hall of Fame (2012).

Directs the resolution be presented to Prather's family, forwarded to the Mississippi Supreme Court, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
