Nancy Lane from Brandon, Mississippi was elected as Treasurer for the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) on May 15, 2020, making her the first Mississippian elected to NAR's seven-member Executive Committee.

The NAR Treasurer position oversees a $500 million plus business and serves a two-year term from 2021-2022; Lane was to be installed in New Orleans in November 2020.

Lane has over 40 years of experience in commercial real estate, including 18 years as Director of Real Estate at McCarty-Holman Company and founding her own brokerage, now Lane-Harkins Commercial Real Estate.

As President of the Mississippi Association of REALTORS® in 2005, Lane established the Mississippi REALTORS® Disaster Relief Fund in response to Hurricane Katrina, which raised nearly $4 million for housing-related assistance.

The Legislature commends Nancy Lane for bringing honor to Mississippi and extends best wishes to her and her family for future successes.
