Extends legislative condolences to the family of Robert Jerry "Gentle Ben" Williams, who died May 18, 2020, at age 65.

Recognizes Williams as the first African American to play football at the University of Mississippi and one of the school's greatest defensive players.

Acknowledges Williams' accomplishments including being a four-year letterman, first African American All-American at Ole Miss, three-time All-SEC selection, and 10-year NFL career with Buffalo Bills (147 games, 45.5 sacks).

Commends his civic contributions including founding LYNCO Construction Company, serving on multiple Ole Miss boards, supporting the Minority Scholarship Endowment, and involvement with Easter Seals and Multiple Sclerosis Association.

Directs the resolution be presented to Williams' family, the University of Mississippi Chancellor, and the Capitol Press Corps.
