Commends and congratulates Martinas Orlando Rankin, Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackle and Super Bowl LIV champion, for his athletic achievements and representation of Mississippi.

Recognizes Rankin's path from Mendenhall High School to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (2013-2014) to Mississippi State University (2015-2017), where he earned First Team All-SEC honors and won the Kent Hull Trophy in 2017.

Notes Rankin was drafted 80th overall in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans and was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs on August 31, 2019 in exchange for running back Carlos Hyde.

Acknowledges the Chiefs won Super Bowl LIV, their first championship in 50 years, with nine total players having Mississippi connections on both teams.

Directs that the resolution be presented to Rankin and his family and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
