Recognizes Mississippi-Taiwan sister-state relations, marking the 37th anniversary in 2020, with Taiwan serving as Mississippi's 4th largest Asian trading partner and Mississippi exporting nearly $45 million in goods to Taiwan in 2019.

Commends Taiwan's participation in the U.S. Visa Waiver Program (since 2012) and Global Entry program (since 2017) as means to promote tourism and economic exchanges between the nations.

Supports Taiwan's meaningful participation in international organizations including INTERPOL, ICAO, UNFCCC, and WHO to address global security and health challenges.

Commends Peter C.Y. Chen, Director General of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Houston, for enhancing cooperation between Mississippi and Taiwan.
