Ole Miss Ice Hockey Club won its first Southeastern Conference Hockey Club (SECHC) Tournament Title on February 9, 2020, after entering as the No. 6 seed with a 10-5-0 record.

Team defeated No. 3 seed Florida Atlantic 5-3 in the opening round, then beat No. 7 Auburn 2-1 in overtime on a goal by Braden Storner before winning the championship game against top-seeded Arkansas.

Goalie Ryan Troy recorded 110 saves throughout the tournament, with Cal Lavery scoring the winning goal against Arkansas with 11 minutes remaining in the final game.

Ole Miss is a Division III member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association and competes in the Southeastern Collegiate Hockey Conference.

Senate commends the Ice Hockey Club for bringing honor to the university, community, and State of Mississippi, with the resolution to be presented to Chancellor Glenn Boyce and the Board of Trustees.
