Recognizes Jackson's service as Chairman of the Senate Municipalities Committee and previous chairmanships of the Local and Private Committee and Business and Financial Institutions Committee

Notes Jackson's background as a pastor at Providence Baptist Church, residential appraiser, and graduate of East Mississippi Community College and Mississippi State University

Acknowledges Jackson's efforts to improve public schools in Oktibbeha County, enhance public safety, and support Mississippi State University during his tenure

Directs that this resolution be presented to Senator Jackson and made available to the Capitol Press Corps
