Recognizes Linda Reaves for 50 years of service to the Mississippi Senate, beginning in January 1970 as a session employee in the steno pool.

Acknowledges Reaves as one of the first legislative employees to use the Mag-Card Selective Typewriter and Magnetic Computer Word Processor, and as the only Senate employee proficient in shorthand.

Notes Reaves' service under nine Lieutenant Governors and four Directors of the Legislative Services Office throughout her tenure.

Honors Reaves' demonstrated commitment to the legislative institution, her contributions to public policy work, and her professionalism under pressure.
