Requires any public officer or employee who handles or has custody of public funds to provide an individual bond of $25,000, unless a higher amount is specifically required by law.

Exempts public officers and employees whose handling or custody of public funds is incidental to their employment duties, as defined by State Auditor regulations.

Specifies that all bonds shall follow the form and content requirements in Section 25-1-15.

Takes effect July 1, 2021.
