Adds paragraph (28) to Section 43-13-115 of Mississippi Code to extend Medicaid eligibility for pregnant women to up to 12 months following childbirth if they are eligible under other provisions of the section.

Applies to women who are otherwise eligible for Medicaid benefits under existing categories at the time of pregnancy.

The Division of Medicaid shall redetermine eligibility in accordance with federal law requirements.

Effective date is July 1, 2021.
