MS HB1092

Directs the Division of Medicaid to increase reimbursement rates for preventative dental services by 10% annually for fiscal years 2022, 2023, and 2024, each increase calculated above the previous year's rate.

Establishes the "James Russell Dumas Medicaid Dental Services Incentive Program" with the intent to encourage more dentists to actively participate in Medicaid.

Requires the Medical Care Advisory Committee to annually evaluate the program's effectiveness by tracking the number of Medicaid dentist providers, their billing activity, geographic distribution of services, and other relevant data.

Mandates annual reporting of program findings to the Chair of the Senate Medicaid Committee and Chair of the House Medicaid Committee.

Takes effect July 1, 2021.
