Amends Section 25-15-101 of the Mississippi Code to require county boards of supervisors to provide insurance coverage to each election commissioner in the county.

Expands existing authority for political subdivisions to secure group insurance policies covering life, health, accident, hospitalization, and medical/surgical benefits for employees and dependents.

Allows county boards of supervisors to pay insurance costs directly from general or contingent funds, with contributions not exceeding an average of 100% of total coverage costs.

Takes effect on July 1, 2021.
