Creates the Bulletproof Vests Revolving Fund in the State Treasury with annual appropriations of $250,000 from the Mississippi Legislature

Department of Public Safety will administer the fund to help local law enforcement agencies meet the match requirement for the federal Department of Justice Vest Partnership Grant Act of 1998

Departments serving populations under 15,000 may apply in fiscal year 2022 and every third fiscal year thereafter

Departments serving populations between 15,000 and 50,000 may apply in fiscal year 2023 and every third fiscal year thereafter

Departments serving populations over 50,000 may apply in fiscal year 2024 and every third fiscal year thereafter
