Requires the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) to maintain grass mowing of rights-of-way for state highways located within municipalities with populations of 10,000 or less, effective July 1, 2021

Municipalities must request that MDOT perform the grass mowing services to receive this benefit

MDOT grass mowing must follow the department's annual mowing schedule and does not apply to areas covered by beautification permits or agreements

Previously, municipalities had full control and responsibility for grass mowing beyond curb lines of designated highways within their corporate limits, regardless of population size

Amends Section 65-1-75 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 to shift this maintenance responsibility from small municipalities to the state transportation department
