Adds "epidemic" and "pandemic" to the definitions of "state of emergency," "local emergency," and "natural emergency" in Mississippi's emergency management law.

Limits any state of emergency or emergency impact area declaration to a maximum of 45 days, after which the Legislature must enact legislation to continue it; restricts the Governor to one emergency declaration per time period in the same area with same or similar conditions.

Changes the review period for continuing emergencies from 30 days to 15 days.

Authorizes the State Department of Health to take possession of and store dead human bodies during a declared state of emergency when insufficient county facilities exist.

Authorizes physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and registered nurses licensed in other states to practice in Mississippi during a state of emergency or state of war emergency.
