Appropriates $19,603,302.00 from special funds in the State Treasury to the Public Employees' Retirement System for administrative expenses and building maintenance/operation for fiscal year 2022 (July 1, 2021 - June 30, 2022).

Authorizes 167 permanent full-time positions for the agency with restrictions on salary increases and personnel actions unless approved by the State Personnel Board.

Allocates no more than $3,538,000.00 for replacement computer system expenses and no more than $300,000.00 for building maintenance and repair.

Establishes the Public Employees' Retirement System Building Repair and Maintenance Fund to collect rental income from the building at 301 North President Street, Jackson, Mississippi, with unexpended funds transferred to the Administrative Budget Fund annually.

Requires the agency to maintain complete accounting and personnel records in the same format and detail as fiscal year 2021 and to submit budget requests in comparable format and detail.
