MS HB1480

Expands the boundaries of the Marshall Utility Services Sewer District in Marshall County, Mississippi to include additional land in Townships 1, 2, and 3 South, Ranges 3, 4, and 5 West.

Authorizes the Board of Supervisors of Marshall County to establish the district and serve as its governing authority, with powers granted under Section 19-5-151 et seq., Mississippi Code of 1972.

Grants the district authority to provide sewer service to residents in the expanded area and utilize any portion of the area currently franchised by Marshall Utility Services, Inc. with that company's permission.

Exempts the district's property and revenue from all state, county, and municipal taxation.

Takes effect upon passage.
