MS HB1495

Authorizes the Board of Supervisors of Tallahatchie County to lease a water well located at or near the Tallahatchie County Industrial Park (north of Highway 32) to the City of Charleston

Permits the lease for a period of up to 25 years under terms the board determines best promote public safety, economic development, and public welfare

Requires that water usage and fire protection rates charged to industries, businesses, or public entities in the Industrial Park be no higher than amounts agreed upon by both the county and city governing authorities

Takes effect immediately upon passage
