Restores voting rights to Ms. Debra Denise Thomas of Hinds County, Mississippi, who lost voting eligibility due to felony convictions.

Thomas was convicted of Shoplifting in Warren County on August 31, 1998, and sentenced to three years with three years suspended and five years probation.

Thomas received a second Shoplifting conviction in Warren County on May 25, 2000, resulting in a three-year sentence in the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Thomas completed her full sentence and was discharged on July 22, 2002, and has since conducted herself as a law-abiding citizen.

Act takes effect immediately upon passage.
