Revises qualifications for county veteran service officers to require certification and accreditation according to 38 CFR Section 2.629 administered by the Mississippi State Veterans' Affairs Board.

Requires county veteran service officers to attend at least one annual training program provided by the Mississippi State Veterans' Affairs Board and successfully complete a written examination each year.

Mandates that boards of supervisors provide necessary office space and communications connectivity for county veteran service officers.

Clarifies that county veteran service officers must follow rules and regulations promulgated by the Mississippi State Veterans' Affairs Board to receive compensation.

Takes effect July 1, 2021.
