Exempts offenders enrolled in the Mississippi Statewide Incarcerated Veterans Program: Housing Unit for Military Veterans (HUM-V) from required uniform designations (red/white, black/white, or green/white striped uniforms based on security level)

Exempts HUM-V program enrollees from the requirement to wear clothing issued by the Department of Corrections and from having the word "convict" written on their garments

Exempts HUM-V program enrollees from the prohibition on possessing radios, televisions, record players, tape players, recorders, compact disc players, stereos, or computers

Exempts HUM-V program enrollees from the restriction on weight lifting equipment in correctional facilities

Takes effect July 1, 2021
