Allows outdoor advertising sign structures erected before April 15, 2008, that are converted to digital to remain conforming structures, provided they do not exceed their permitted height

Maintains the 40-foot maximum height limit for sign structures erected on or after April 15, 2008, measured from road grade level or from the grade of the site if the adjacent land is higher than the road

Prohibits sign structures over 40 feet from being converted to digital unless they were lawfully converted prior to April 15, 2008

Removes previous language that set a blanket 40-foot height restriction for all sign structures erected on or after July 1, 2003

Takes effect July 1, 2021
