Protects the insurance interests of lienholders, secured parties, assignees, and other named parties on vehicle insurance policies from being invalidated by intentional acts or omissions of the vehicle owner.

Applies when such parties possess or are named on a vehicle insurance policy with their interest noted.

Ensures that insurance coverage for the lienholder or other named party remains valid even if the vehicle owner intentionally causes damage or takes other actions that might otherwise void coverage.

Takes effect July 1, 2021.
