Removes the 90-day exception that previously allowed appraisal management companies to remove newly added independent appraisers from their panels without explanation during the first 90 days

Requires appraisal management companies to provide written notice with reasons before removing any appraiser from their panel, regardless of how long the appraiser has been on the panel

Mandates that appraisers removed for alleged illegal conduct, USPAP violations, or state licensing violations must be notified of the specific nature of the allegations and given an opportunity to respond

Allows removed appraisers to file complaints with the board for review, with the commission required to adjudicate complaints within 180 days

Effective date of July 1, 2021
