Amends Section 63-7-47 to permit vehicles transporting timber loads extending more than 4 feet beyond the vehicle bed to operate at night if equipped with a rotating or oscillating amber strobe-type lamp or LED light affixed near the end of the load.

Requires the amber/LED light to be displayed from one-half hour before sunset to one-half hour after sunrise and during periods specified in Section 63-7-11.

Amends Section 63-5-19 to cross-reference Section 63-7-47, allowing timber product vehicles with the required lighting to operate during periods previously restricted to daylight hours only.

Maintains existing requirements for red flag/cloth display during daylight hours and load securement standards for forestry product vehicles.

Effective July 1, 2021.
