Holds elected or appointed officials personally liable for all costs associated with prosecution when a court finds malicious prosecution occurred

Requires mandatory disbarment from the practice of law for any official found to have participated in malicious prosecution, if applicable

Mandates removal or termination from employment with the governing authority or agency that employed the official during the malicious prosecution

Prohibits payment of retirement funds from any state or local retirement system until all assessed costs are fully paid

Requires the employing governing authority or agency to calculate all prosecution costs and submit them to the presiding judge, who must then issue a payment order against the official
