Eliminates the intermediate driver's license classification from Mississippi law by deleting all references across multiple sections of the Motor Vehicle Code.

Allows regular license holders under age 18 to drive unsupervised to or from educational or extracurricular activities at any time, in addition to existing work-related driving exceptions.

Reduces the learner's permit holding requirement from two stages (learner's permit then intermediate license) to a single requirement of holding a regular learner's permit for one year before obtaining a full driver's license at age 16.

Removes the $5.00 fee for intermediate licenses and streamlines the licensing process by eliminating a separate license type while maintaining supervision requirements for other unsupervised driving times.

Takes effect upon passage, repealing intermediate license provisions while maintaining restrictions on when drivers under 18 must be supervised by a licensed adult aged 21 or older.
