Replaces the previous flat $30 minimum weekly unemployment benefit with a tiered system based on prior wages earned

Establishes minimum weekly benefit amounts: $1,000/week for wages over $100,000; $750/week for wages $75,000-$100,000; $650/week for wages $50,000-$75,000; $500/week for wages $25,000-$50,000; $250/week for wages $25,000 or less

Removes the previous maximum weekly benefit caps of $210 (2002), $230 (2008), and $235 (2009), allowing the maximum to be calculated as 60% of average weekly wage without a fixed ceiling

Individuals whose weekly benefit amount calculates below the applicable minimum would receive no benefits

Effective date of July 1, 2021
