Appropriates $3,100,000 from the State General Fund to the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning for Alcorn State University agriculture research and extension programs for fiscal year 2022 (July 1, 2021 - June 30, 2022)

Allocates $1,000,000 specifically for expansion of shiitake mushroom research and production

Provides $715,000 for animal science research and extension programs and $525,000 for poultry science research, extension, and academic programs

Designates $430,000 each for environmental science and horticulture research and extension programs

Effective date of July 1, 2021
