House Bill 613 Summary

• Allows direct on-site supervisors of providers in managed care organizations to sign off on provider work during the credentialing process if the provider has begun credentialing and has not been previously denied, permitting reimbursement for such work.

• Prohibits the Division of Medicaid from suspending reimbursement payments to providers during appeals of division determinations of violations, unless the provider has been previously convicted of Medicaid fraud.

• Applies effective July 1, 2021.
