Employees terminated from agencies, departments, institutions, or nonprofit corporations funded by state or federal grants/contracts are permanently barred from future employment with similar entities

The prohibition applies specifically when the new employer uses funds from the same grant or contract that funded the terminated employee's previous position

Covers any position funded in whole or in part by Mississippi state or U.S. federal grant or contract money

Effective immediately upon passage
