Requires verification that applicants match their driver's license or photo ID information on file with the Mississippi Department of Public Safety, including name, date of birth, citizenship status, and identification number.

Mandates that county registrars review all online applications, with rejected applications resulting from incomplete information or mismatched data with Department of Public Safety records.

Requires the Secretary of State and Department of Public Safety to enter into a memorandum of understanding for sharing information necessary to process online voter registrations.

Updates existing voter registration statutes to incorporate online registration procedures and sets the registration date for online applications as the date the completed application is submitted to the website; effective July 1, 2021.
