Exempts law enforcement officers employed with a municipality, county, or state law enforcement agency from concealed carry permit application fees (originally $80.00) at time of application.

Exempts the same law enforcement officers from concealed carry permit renewal fees (originally $40.00) at time of renewal.

Adds law enforcement officers to existing exemptions for honorably retired law enforcement officers, disabled veterans, and active duty Armed Forces members.

Requires law enforcement officers seeking a distinct license to provide a letter from their agency on official letterhead confirming employment and proof of completion of a certified law enforcement training academy.

Effective July 1, 2021.
