Federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) and community health centers providing telehealth services will have the distant or hub site provider reimbursed at the applicable Medicaid fee rate for services rendered

Telehealth services provided by FQHCs and community health centers will be billable at the same face-to-face encounter rate used for all other Medicaid reimbursements under the prospective payment system

Establishes payment parity between in-person visits and telehealth visits for these community health centers

Effective date: July 1, 2021
