Provides liability protection for refiners, suppliers, wholesalers, and retailers from damages caused by incompatible motor fuel dispensed at retail sites if three conditions are met: the fuel meets Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce standards, the fuel is selected by someone other than the retailer, and the dispenser is correctly labeled.

Defines incompatible motor fuel as fuel that does not match the motor manufacturer's specifications for that particular vehicle.

Defines key terms including motor fuel (gasoline, diesel, substitute fuel, renewable fuel, blended fuel), refiner, supplier, wholesaler, retailer, and terminal operator for purposes of the liability protection.

Takes effect July 1, 2021.
