Requires all individual and group health insurance policies, service contracts, and managed care entities issued or renewed on or after July 1, 2021, to cover physician-prescribed proton beam therapy for cancer treatment as recommended by the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO).

Applies the proton therapy coverage requirement to the State and School Employees Health Insurance Plan.

Amends Section 25-15-9 of the Mississippi Code to explicitly require the state employee health insurance plan to provide proton therapy coverage for cancer treatment and certain noncancerous tumors.

Takes effect July 1, 2021.
