Expands the definition of "practice of pharmacy" to include providing patient care services, recognizing pharmacists as healthcare providers authorized to deliver patient services

Authorizes pharmacists to provide board-approved patient care services when operating under a protocol agreement with a practitioner (physician, dentist, veterinarian, or other prescriber)

Requires the State Board of Pharmacy to adopt rules governing the patient care services pharmacists may provide

Mandates that insurance policies, medical service plans, and hospital service contracts must pay or reimburse for services performed by licensed pharmacists when those services fall within their lawful scope of practice

Effective date of July 1, 2021
