Amends Section 73-21-73 of the Mississippi Code to revise the definition of "written guideline or protocol" in the Pharmacy Practice Act.

Removes the requirement that a pharmacist receiving delegated prescribing authority from a practitioner must perform those functions in an institutional setting or with individual patients.

Removes the requirement that a specific protocol agreement be signed on each patient, though the agreement must still be filed as required by law or board regulation.

Takes effect July 1, 2021.
