Establishes the Mississippi State Song Study Committee to develop and recommend a new official state song that honors Mississippi's musical heritage while embracing the future.

Committee consists of 9 members: 3 appointed by the Speaker of the House (including 2 House members), 3 by the Lieutenant Governor (including 2 State Senators), and 3 by the Governor, with appointments due by July 15, 2021.

Committee shall hold public meetings, accept written comments, consult with experts, and consider information relevant to selecting a new state song that reflects Mississippi's contributions to rock and roll, country, blues, gospel, and other musical genres.

Committee must submit a written recommendation for the new official state song to the Legislature no later than November 30, 2021, with decisions requiring majority vote approval.

Members receive no compensation but may be reimbursed for mileage and actual expenses as provided by law, subject to available funds.
