Mourns the passing of former Representative Nolan Mettetal, who died on December 28, 2020, after 24 years of service in the Mississippi Legislature.

Recognizes Mettetal's service as State Senator for Senate District 10 (portions of Panola and Tate Counties) from 1996 to 2011, serving two terms as Chairman of the Business and Financial Institutions Committee and one term as Chairman of the Public Utilities Committee.

Acknowledges his subsequent service as State Representative for House District 10 (portions of Lafayette, Panola and Tallahatchie Counties) from 2012 to 2019 before retirement.

Commends Mettetal's professional career as a pharmacist and his community involvement with the Mississippi Pharmacist Association, Sardis Chamber of Commerce, and various educational alumni associations.

Expresses the Legislature's sympathy to his surviving family: wife Kay Ford Mettetal, children Dr. Cary Nolan Mettetal and Kim Mettetal Reed, and five grandchildren.
