Commends the life of Mr. Ceaser L. Merriweather, born November 13, 1946, and expresses deep sympathy to his family and friends upon his passing.

Recognizes his service as a Vietnam veteran in the United States Air Force and his 36-year career with Kaiser Permanente before retiring in 2009.

Honors his 48-year marriage to his wife Brenda Alexander and his role as a loving father to two children, Christopher and Michelle.

Acknowledges his membership in Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and his charitable support of the ASPCA for animal welfare.

Directs that copies of this resolution be furnished to Mr. Merriweather's family and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
