Establishes a tiered annual salary structure for local school board members effective July 1, 2021, based on student enrollment as of October 1 each fiscal year

Sets salaries ranging from $3,600 for districts with up to 5,000 students to $6,000 for districts with over 30,000 students, replacing the previous flat $2,400 annual salary or $67 per diem option

Salary tiers include: $3,600 (up to 5,000 students), $4,200 (5,000-10,000), $4,800 (10,000-20,000), $5,400 (20,000-30,000), and $6,000 (over 30,000)

School board members remain ineligible for state employee group insurance, retirement, or other fringe benefits

Retains provisions requiring members who miss 20% or more of meetings to reimburse a proportionate amount of their salary to the district
