Allows adopted persons to obtain a certified copy of their original birth certificate once 18 years have passed since the revised birth certificate was issued following their adoption

Original birth certificates provided to adoptees must be clearly marked "cancelled and revised"

Birth parents may still file affidavits with the Bureau of Vital Statistics authorizing or prohibiting disclosure of their identity and location, but these affidavits do not affect an adoptee's right to receive their original birth certificate after the 18-year period

Amends Mississippi Code Sections 93-17-21 and 93-17-205 to implement these changes

Effective date of July 1, 2021
